Both teams are coming off a week-long joint practice, with the final day of the training camp concluding in a full-pads off encounter. Much aggression was seen in Thursday’s practice. Let’s see if that continues in a real game as well.

Denver Broncos Team News

The quarterback competition between Paxton Lynch and Trevor Siemian could be decided by general manager John Elway after the performances on Saturday night.

DeMarcus Walker will not play in Saturday’s game with a hip-flexor injury. Also, Brandon Marshall, who suffered a  rib contusion on Wednesday is doubtful of play.

LB Todd Davis remains in the longtime absentees’ list with a sprained shoulder.

With Davis and Marshall both on the sidelines, Corey Nelson and Zaire Anderson will be leading the defensive end.

WR Cody Latimer sat out a second consecutive practice due to a hamstring injury but may play on Saturday.

San Francisco 49ers Team News

The newly compiled starters worked well last week in Kansas City and the 49ers will be hoping they continue to deliver the same against the Broncos.

In Thursday’s practice, Reuben Foster was pulled out with a shoulder injury. Although he participated in 7-on-7 drills but not full-team work. Coach Kyle Shanahan has said that the rookie linebacker will be alright to play on Saturday.
